Dr. Daniel Carson, a professor at Georgia State University studied 500 family in a sex study.  The results concluded that couples have better sex lives when they split child care responsibilities.  The study showed that “couples that split child care duties evenly reported greater satisfaction – both emotionally and sexually.”  This information can improve relationships.  We live in a stressful society and often parents work two or more jobs.  Leaving the majority of child care to one partner, mainly the woman, sets up breeding ground for discontentment in the home.  Many families still maintain traditional roles as when women didn’t work and stayed home caring for children, and have brought that into life situations that no longer exist.  Reflecting on how society operates today should challenge couples to examine their roles.  For more information on this study read here.
